Dylan H. Scott

Broadcast Director / Producer / Technical Director

I direct and produce live sports for Big Ten Plus at Indiana University. In three years at Cream & Crimson Studios I've worked my way from camera operator to technical director, director, and now producer. I'm aiming to direct network sports broadcasts or lead a team's in-house videoboard show. Graduating May 2027.

Flypack Production

A control room in road cases

The flypack is a portable control room we build on site for each show. I joined as a student, and because of my experience at Cream & Crimson Studios I took on a mentor role, leading most of our broadcasts and helping newer crew learn the system.

About Dylan

Live first, story always

I'm a senior at Indiana University studying Film, TV, and Digital Production, with a business minor from the Kelley School. Most of my college career has happened in control rooms and on camera platforms, and live sports is where I'm building my career.

Leading crews. At Cream & Crimson Studios and in IU's flypack program, I've moved from learning the system to running it: leading broadcasts, mentoring newer students, and helping crews learn their positions.

Telling the story. Whether it's a Big Ten broadcast or a short documentary, I think the job is the same: find the story and make sure the audience doesn't miss it. As a producer for B1G Student U, that means deciding which stories lead the show.

Off the clock. I love learning, whether that's a documentary, the story behind an airplane, or a historical event. History is my sweet spot. I also love movies and classical music, which calms me down and helps me focus.

Beyond the control room

Away from game day, I shoot, edit, and produce stories, from aviation promos to documentaries.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh

Two summers at AirVenture

At the world's largest fly-in I edited signage and promo videos, then ran a crowd camera for the live airshow stream. It's where live production and produced content meet.
